June 2, 2026

The Carolina Horse Park Foundation is pleased to welcome four new members to its Board of Directors, bringing a wealth of equine and professional experience, passion, and commitment to the future of the Park.

Joining the Board are Katherine Thornton, who will serve as Chairperson of the Board, Letty Baker, Punky Mudge, and Sydney Elliott.

As the organization looks toward the future, these new board members will help carry forward the Park’s mission: To deliver an exceptional experience for equestrian sport, creating a sustainable legacy for horses, our community, and the land.

As a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization, the Carolina Horse Park relies on the leadership, stewardship, and dedication of its Board of Directors to help advance its mission and ensure the long-term sustainability of the organization. Board members play a vital role in guiding the Park’s strategic direction, supporting responsible governance, and ensuring the vision upon which the Park was founded.

Since 1998, the Carolina Horse Park has grown through the efforts of countless volunteers, supporters, staff members, and board leaders who have shared a commitment to creating a place where horses, sport, community, and land conservation thrive together. The contributions of past and present board members have been instrumental in helping the Park evolve while remaining true to its core purpose.

We are grateful to all those who have served and continue to serve on the Board of Directors. Their dedication, expertise, and belief in the Carolina Horse Park remain essential to our success and future.
