The Carolina Horse Park Foundation is pleased to welcome Helen Murray as our new Director of Programs and Committee Development.
Helen brings many years of experience in equestrian sport, communications, broadcast production, event management, and nonprofit leadership. Throughout her career, she has helped tell the stories of our sport while building meaningful relationships among athletes, organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and the equestrian community.
Her impressive background includes roles with Horse & Country TV, the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), EQSportsNet, and the Eventing Riders Association of North America, where she has championed athlete engagement, educational programming, communications, and the growth of equestrian sport on both national and international stages.
Helen is no stranger to Carolina Horse Park. From 2009 through 2014, she volunteered extensively with the Park, supporting event management, public relations, and communications initiatives. Since 2014, she has played an integral role in the communications and branding efforts surrounding Carolina International CCI & Horse Trial. As an accomplished upper-level event rider herself, she understands firsthand the importance of creating exceptional experiences for competitors, volunteers, and spectators alike.
As Director of Programs and Committee Development, Helen will lead the growth and coordination of Carolina Horse Park’s educational programs, volunteer initiatives, committee development, and community engagement efforts. Working closely with staff, volunteers, committees, and the Board of Directors, she will help strengthen the connections that advance our mission while expanding opportunities for participation and impact.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Carolina Horse Park relies on dedicated professionals, volunteers, and community partners to deliver exceptional experiences for equestrian sport while creating a sustainable legacy for horses, our community, and the land. Helen’s leadership represents another exciting step forward as we continue investing in the future of the Park.
Please join us in welcoming Helen to the Carolina Horse Park family.
