Carolina Horse Park Trailer Entrance address:Trailer – please use the trailer entrance on Calloway (GATE 8). 3603 Calloway Rd. Raeford, NC 28376. Rte 1 & Rt. 211 in Aberdeen follow signs to Raeford. Take 211 East 8 mi. to Right on Montrose Rd.2 miles to flashing light and turn right onto Calloway Road. Turn left into stabling entrance.Check website for directions/map. The stable/trailer entrance is GATE 8 on Calloway Rd; from Five Points intersection turn NW on Calloway Rd and follow signs to stable entrance.

CT competitors who are not USEA members, must pay the USEA $25 non-member fee with entry. The USEA Starter/D&M fee does not apply. Refunds: Before C.D.-Entry/Stabling -Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Entry/stable- No refund. Stabling refund only if stall is filled. Competition cancellation-No refund. Scratches must be in writing, accepted by fax and email only; NO phone or answering machine withdrawals will be accepted. USEA Starter/D&M Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fee ($35) is not subjected to office fees and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

NOTE: Paper number pinnies will be used for cross-country. Intercollegiate Team Challenge – Please submit team rosters via email to [email protected] to participate. 

Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Stall doors provided (no bedding included). $210 Tack Stall/Non-competing. ***Please use one person’s name or group stable name for all ‘stable with’ requests (only onename will be designated per group).Bedding may be pre-purchased for $10/bag if purchased by Wednesday, September 4th; $12 per bag if you purchase on grounds. Cross-Country

All courses: True representations of their level. Rolling, sand-based turf, all weather footing. Cross-country course open for scheduled Friends of the Park schooling days only. Check website for dates. Course closed for schooling August 23. I-3600m @550mpm. P-3200m @520mpm. M-2600 @490mpm. T-2400m @450mpm. N-2000m @375mpm. BN-2000m @325mpm. Starter-1760m @325mpm.

3Day: A– 2500m @220mpm; B-1200m BN @400mpm, N – @470mpm , C-3000m @220mpm; D– N – 2300m @ 375mpm, BN – 2000m @325mpm.

**During event, the schedule and all rider information including ride times, stable chart, course maps, and results will be available www.carolinahorsepark.com under Competitor Information. Divisions may be divided/combined if entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Dogs must be leashed. Please, nowheeled or motorized vehicles past the start box or on cross-country oncethe cross country phase has started.Bicycles and E-Bikes are permitted up until the start of cross country. Management reserves the right to limit # horses per rider per division. Food available on grounds. SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith.”
 

The Treehouse Event Series is a premier three-part USEA Recognized Horse Trials series hosted at the Carolina Horse Park. The series includes:

  • Southern Pines Horse Trials (March)
  • Longleaf Pines Horse Trials (April)
  • Five Points Horse Trials (September): USEA Classic Series divisions

Throughout the series, competitors accumulate points based on their horse and rider combination. The Treehouse Event Series Championship culminates in a special Awards Presentation at the Five Points Horse Trials, where high-point winners are recognized. To qualify for an award, competitors must participate in or attend the Five Points Horse Trials.

Five Points Horse Trials Adds USEA Classic Series Divisions

This year, on Sept. 6–7, the Five Points Horse Trials at the Carolina Horse Park in Raeford, North Carolina, will offer something eventers in the Southeast haven’t seen in years: long-format divisions. For the first time, the popular early-fall fixture will include Beginner Novice and Novice Three-Day divisions as part of the USEA Classic Series, reviving a tradition that’s steeped in history and rich in educational opportunity.
