Lei Cluff-Ryan

It was love at first sight when Lei Cluff-Ryan saw Carolina Horse Park when competing long before she lived here. The love only solidified once she moved to Vass, NC, and had the opportunity to spend time helping dress cross country courses. “Raising funds for the Park is important so the community has a place to come together and show their horses and support each other in a positive, safe and well-run setting. CHP needs the support of the local community so it can continue it’s mission far into the future.”

She came into the horse life from the womb. Daughter of a TB racehorse trainer with a background in hunters and a harness horse driver and trainer, she never blinked, horses have always been a center to her life. She has developed several horses to the intermediate level of eventing, competed at FEI events, and has her USDF Bronze Medal earned on her own My Silver Heart, who she started and has had for the past 9 years.

She and her husband, Sean, came to the Moore County area when he started working at Fort Bragg. Both she and Sean are graduates of the United States Military Academy. She has served on boards at Maryland Combined Training and Commonwealth Dressage and Combined Training Associations and volunteered in the many locations she’s lived. Since being here in Vass, she has received the 2015 Competitor of the Year at Carolina Horse Park, an award recognizing the volunteer competitor. Currently, she runs CR Performance Solutions-Equine, which is a PEMF business; is an apartment manager; and keeps Long Skinny Farm going.
