Does CHP have horses to ride or offer lessons?
CHP does not have horses to ride or offer lessons. In fact, unless there is a competition or schooling day underway, there are generally no horses on the premises. We are strictly an events and competition facility.
Are the trails at CHP open to the public?
Generally, our trails are open to public use on specific days or as scheduled for walking, biking, and running. Please contact the Park if interested at 910-875-2074

Can I stable my horses overnight at CHP?
The events that take place at the Park take precedence over everything else, and all horses stabled here have been registered and approved. However, occasionally special overnight stabling not in conjunction with an event might be possible. To inquire, please contact the CHP office at 910.875.2074.
Is the Carolina Horse Park a State Agency?
No, the Park is owned by the Carolina Horse Park Foundation, a private, not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
