Aaron Hill

Aaron Stuckey Hill is the three-day eventing coach at Portofino Equestrian Center, near Raleigh, NC. Raised in Newnan, Georgia, on her family’s farm, she rode before she could walk. Aaron has competed and was long listed for the USET’s Three-Day Event Team in 2001. A longtime US Pony Club member, she achieved the USPC’s difficult “A” rating and is now a USPC examiner and trainer. Many of Aaron’s students have competed at the national Young Rider Level. She enjoys utilizing her knowledge and passion in the development of riders. “I absolutely love what I do, or I wouldn’t work 14-hour days!”

Aaron competed at Rolex Three Day Event twice and has sharpened her own skills through years of experience in the field, plus extensive training with legendary horsemen including Mark Todd, Ralph Hill, Nick Larkin, Bruce and Buck Davidson, David O'Connor, Jim Wofford and Stuart Black. Hill often brings many students to the Carolina Horse Park because of the schooling opportunities it offers all levels of riders, the solid and safe footing, as well as the top-notch schooling and rated events hosted each year.
